Masters of Physiotherapy, B.App.Sci (Exercise and Sports Science)
Ailsa’s passion for sport, health and exercise rehabilitation led her to complete her first degree, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise and Sport Science. This was followed by a more specialised Masters of Physiotherapy, which she graduated with from the University of Sydney. Since graduating Ailsa Koch has used both degrees to help her patients in her role as a physiotherapist to the Australian Defence Force, various sporting teams and in private practice, both in Australia and Hong Kong. Ailsa’s experience as a physiotherapist in military, sporting teams and private practice settings has exposed her to an extensive and mixed caseload of musculoskeletal, sports, spinal, orthopaedic, pre & post surgical, occupational and military specific injuries. She has developed a keen and special interest in pre- and post-natal health and fitness, having treated a large and varied caseload in her time in private practice. Ailsa Koch uses her experience as a Clinical Pilates instructor to help treat her patients effectively in both group and individual sessions at Innovations Sports Physiotherapy. Away from the clinic Ailsa enjoys playing netball and practicing yoga. Ailsa Koch has three children and is currently on Maternity leave.
